I am a wrestling fan and wished to share my views with
other fans with a
love of the sport. After searching through plenty to see what was about
I finally
pledge myself to the one site on 7th of December 2004. Not long after I
wish I
hadn't due to a number of cliques and a bad attitude towards the new
members by
the older lot for no reason. The owner of the site was never around so
the long
term members took it upon themselves to act like they run the place.
I offered after being the highest poster at the forum to help the
owner's one
and only moderator run the forum with the moderator and owner both
being from
North America so we had the time differences sorted. Instead of doing
this the
owner screwed me over making me look bad by making me a moderator and
taking
away the other guy's power thus making me look bad. This caused
unnecessary
trouble and the forum went extremely downhill not long after. Because
of what
the admin did people took it upon themselves to play god and not only
spam out
the forum but hack it to the point it was down for months. This owner
completely neglected his site and only cared about adding annoying
popups and
hits to pay for his college fees.
Because
the forum was down people had nowhere to post. The members who blamed
me for
the loss of power got a forum for themselves whilst I made one as
refuge for
me, Hartstoppa, KJC Smith, Raw_Is_Y2j and Mickey4life2004. This forum
can be
still be seen for old times sake at http://noddyrules.proboards43.com
if anyone
wishes to look.
I spent
hours building it up and getting us a fan base to make the site a
success.
WebmasterFF being my best friend got made a moderator with extra power
and got
to work on the technical aspect of the forum. I on the other hand have
always
been about advertising and making the wrestling section look busy.
Whilst there
we had to ban a couple of members for spamming due to being jealous of
our
success whilst the other breakaway site wasn't attracting anyone so
thought
they would cause us bother. One day Webby brought up how we had a good
list of
members so should move to a proper domain name. We bought one, and here
we are
today with a site to be proud of.
On 10th August 2005, after many a long and tiring night working on it, WebmasterFF created Captain Charisma’s Wrestling Forum at www.theunprettier.com. The forum tried to stay as close to noddyrules as it could, with the colour scheme and topics staying the same. We have had problems from the other breakaway site too signing up to cause bother instead of moving on and concentrating on what they have. New people get treated as long term family members from day one. And that is what we have A FAMILY of great people who share views without being had a go at for whatever reason.
